Garland Silk
Give a woman another reason to buy new home decor, and never regret it! The same applies to the decoration of Christmas trees, as trends these days ranging from one spectrum to another. From kitsch to chic and retro to modern, tree items can be anything your heart desires and still remain in the spirit of the holiday season. After all, people who celebrate Christmas are of different nationalities, cultures, traditions and places. Why limit the joy use your imagination?
I'm dreaming of a green Christmas:
When we think of recycling, we think of brown paper Soft, compost, empty plastic bottles and cans of soda … not very similar to Christmas or attractive! But believe it or not, recycling and natural materials can be very beautiful and elegant even. Try to explode the large feathers among the branches, or find ball feather decorations hanging in silver or gold thread. Take small branches of trees who have fallen in your yard and paint with silver, gold, copper and white tempera paint (water soluble and non-aerosols – very respectful of the environment). Poke the branches vertically at the top 1/3rd of the tree. This creates a topper "tree" that adds sparkle while a natural look. Any ornament that represents the Mother Earth, animals, fruits and vegetables, nature or recycling are of course very appropriate! Fruit and ornamental birds such as cardinals red can add that touch of color to compensate for the usually drab palette of recycled materials. Try colored twine or braided dress and crown to maintain the natural feel.
The Princess and the tree:
All girls (and grown too) will love this theme: Start with a pure white artificial tree and chain white or red light (even purple lights on sale after Halloween!). Add pink marabou boas spruce crown, blown glass and delicate spin glass ornaments, and anything with a crown or crowns or rhinestones! A rhinestone sequin trim tree or going to bring everything together.
Red all over its splendor:
Red Christmas Classic is once again back in style in 2008. But using the whole palette of red is what makes it fresh and interesting. Decorated in shades ranging from pale pink to red to dark purple apple. Berry shades like strawberry, blueberry, plum and raisins served with traditional red and bring a wealth and elegance to your tree. So if you have a traditional image of Christmas, but still want to unleash your inner diva on vacation, this issue is a new way of presenting a perennial Christmas favorite.
